In writing “I Will Boast”, we wanted to convey Paul’s simple, yet powerful statement to the Galatians in an equally simple, yet powerful anthem. Our prayer for this song is that it becomes the cry of our church as we sing “the cross of Christ, my only hope,” and that it invites us to a posture of radical dependance on Him. “But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Galatians 6:14)
